Airports around the world are getting a little more creative, offering lifestyle, entertainment and a little bit of luxury to once dreary and boring terminals. Now you can get a massage or manicure next to your gate, a martini from a chain restaurant, and, wait for it, cosmetics out of a vending machine on your way to baggage claim. Who’da thought?
Brands like Proactive are dipping into new territories and taking advantage of offering convenience shopping to customers on the move. Since you can barely squeeze on toothpaste in your carry-on, it may be a wise choice to stock up on a travel kit of cleanser, toner and moisturizer after you’ve gone through security and found your gate.
Is this the new trend in cosmetics? Will your favorite lip liner or perfume be available with the touch of a button or your favorite shampoo as easy to purchase as swiping your credit card and watching it drop down to the “push here” slot?
Let us know what you think about this new trend and whether or not you would replace the cosmetics counter with a vending machine…
