Let’s call it vintspiration, shall we?
New York’s Americana Manhasset fall catalogue has taken a direct cue from the 1920′s-30′s vintage fashion nods currently swirling around in the 2011-2012 zeitgeist — most notably from last year’s Oscar-winning film The Artist – including some of the movie’s charming star.
Starring super-model Karlie Kloss, male model Clément Chabernaud and The Artist‘s four-legged phenom Uggie, A.M.’s fall catalogue, appropriately titled “Speechless“, is a rather direct imitation of the black-and-white silent film look, showing off the brands vintage-inspired fall collection. And that’s not all.
It seems A.M. is also set to jump onto the fashion-meets-short film bandwagon, with plans to reveal it’s own short, silent film of behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the catalogue. Both will be unveiled sometime in mid-August, but WWD offered up some exclusive and heart-stopping sneak peeks, which we’re happy to pass on to you! You can see them all via WWD here.
