Brad Goreski Plays Nice-Nice With Kate Spade
Huh… who knew? It really is a Brad, Brad world after all. At least it will certainly look like one.
Rachel Zoe’s former assistant has announced another lucrative addition to his reality TV gig. He will be the “exclusive brand stylist” for Kate Spade New York – inevitably taking his brand of preppy to the store shelves.
Spade, known for her accessories and handbags, already has a line of clothing – but it has yet to hit the market with the zeal of the aforementioned bags and such. “It’s my hope to get the ready-to-wear out there and see it more on the streets and see people playing with it and making it their own,” Goreski told WWD, adding that he wants to take the “Kate Spade girl to the next level.” It’s safe to assume that “next level” means bright colors and preppy prints.
Goreski’s own show “It’s a Brad, Brad World” is set to launch next week, so we’ll surely see some Spade-ish tie ins as well. Stay tuned.
