Calvin Klein Spring 2011 Men’s Collection
Milan Fashion Week is in full swing and the men’s collections are just as exciting and interesting as ever. I have been checking out the collections at Style.com and I am just as impressed as ever. I will share a few of my favorites with you this week.
Calvin Klein has taken an interesing theme for the runway this season. My favorite looks were the looks that focused on the fitted tanks and t-shirts tucked into oversized parachute-like pants, made of fun futuristic type materials. There were also looks that consisted of long baggy shorts and cropped tanks made of sweat suit material. These looks made up a lot of their collection and managed to be very reminiscenct of early 90′s MC Hammer like style. Part of the reason the collection went in more of an athletic direction is because it will be available in stores around the time of the olympics next year. Calvin Klein’s designer, Zuchelli, has managed to keep some of the Minimalism that CK is famous for and bring a little drama to the runway. Could we be moving back to the fashion of the early 90′s? That could make for an interesting era in fashion!
