Cynthia Rowley Designs Band-Aids

It seems that these days designers are creating everything in order to expand their brand and get more exposure. Partnering with another company that has a large following such as Target or K-mart to design a specfic line or item is a great way for people that would never be exposed to high fashion brands to hear the name.

The most recent example of this would be Cynthia Rowley’s collaboration with Band-Aid on designer bandages.  This is a perfect example of how to cross promote and gain exposure to your brand. Rowley will create custom designed band-aids where some will be sequined and others will be covered in various images including some with runway models.  The box of uniquley designed band-aids will cost you about $4 when they hit stores this holiday season.

The swanky bandages will debut at Fashion’s Night Out, and througout New York Fashion Week. Band-Aid will also sponsor “a traveling Glambulance to roam the NYC streets rescuing fashion emergencies, fully equipped with a hair stylist, make-up artist and fashionable First-Aid supplies.”
