In honor of Earth month and most everyone I know’s desire to go at least a little greener – I’d like to introduce The New York Times recent pick for getting earthy in the sexiest of ways. The design duo behind label United Bamboo, Thuy Pham and Miho Aoki have created an eco-friendly line of boudoir worthy intimate wear. The new collection entitled Bamboo By consists of Victorian undergarment-inspired camisoles, dresses and smocks – taking the ephemera trend to a modern new appeal.

“There are many companies putting out clothes labeled as organic, but the fabrics might have been dyed or finished with harsh chemicals,” explains Pham of their eco-spiration. And the label isn’t shy about spreading the word, “It’s a long process and will most likely never be 100 percent eco-friendly,” Pham adds, “but we encourage our vendors to offer more organic pieces to supplement the nonorganic collections they carry.” Eco + Ethics = A Happy Earth Month indeed!
