Ecoya's Body Exfoliator

Every now and again I get to sample a product and I absolutely and immediately know, that when the jar is empty, I’ll need to rush out and stock up on more. Some things a gal just can’t do without.

My latest must-have staple comes directly from down under. Australia’s leading eco meets luxe home fragrance and bodycare brand Ecoya has unleashed an irresistable Body Exfoliator just in time for summer’s bare-it-all fashions.

Think an elegant jar (I’m a sucker for packaging. What can I say?) of exfoliating cream that does double duty on the skincare front: gently cleansing the skin with natural bamboo stem extract and then moisturizing with jojoba seed oil. This all-natural one-two punch exposes your most radiant complexion while nourishing your skin by balancing oil production and reducing moisture evaporation. My skin felt clean and amazingly soft – and looked radiant without that tell-tale scrubbed redness that some overly harsh exfoliators cause on sensitive skin.

The icing on this skincare cake is the scent. Available in Wild Frangipani, Lemongrass & Ginger, Lotus Flower and Sweet Pea & Jasmine (I tried this one… but can’t wait to try them all!) – the fragrance was softly sweet without being overpowering or cloying. A perfectly light summer scent of refreshing watermelon and cucumber tones paired with light hints of lavender. I fully intend on trying their fragrance line – it smells that good! I literally felt like my own bathroom had suddenly transformed into my fave luxe spa. Paired with the soft flickering of Ecoya’s coveted soy and natural plant wax candle (in a matching scent), I reached levels of zen I didn’t think I could attain without a good Bikram class and a nice glass of wine.

Ecoya Pillar Candle

Biodegradable and generating only 1/10th the soot produced by other paraffin candles – Ecoya’s home fragrance line is as aromatic as it is eco-friendly. It’s little wonder this eco-luxe brand has such a tremendous celebrity following, with the likes of Victoria Beckham, Kate Bosworth, Zoe Saldana, the Kardashian girls eagerly snapping Ecoya’s product line up.

Thank you Ecoya. I’m now a convert.
