Giving the Gift of Fashion This Holiday Season: Our Top Fashion-Forward Charity Picks

Let’s be realistic about the times we are living in. With the economy in such a bad shape and people cutting back everywhere, it doesn’t seem right to splurge on holiday gifts. Instead of treating yourself or your friends to the hottest beauty, fashion and accessories on sale now, give gifts to those less fortunate. After all, it is better to give thanreceive right?

Here are our favorite fashion-forward charities:

Foundation For The Advancement of Women Now Inc

The Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now, Inc. (FFAWN) was created and funded in 2007 by recording artist Mary J. Blige and marketing pioneer Steve Stoute in order to use Mary’s personal story and success to inspire women from all walks of life to reach their individual potential. Mary hopes to help these women overcome the difficulties they face in their lives and to provide them with the drive and confidence to pursue – and realize – their goals and dreams. Donate Now

Gifts of Compassion

Mosquitoes carry malaria, which kills nearly one million people every year. This gift can help give children and their families a mosquito-free sleep with an insecticide-treated bed net and prevention education.

Funds raised from this item will be used to provide: mosquito nets & malaria prevention activities in Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania and Togo. Should excess funds be raised, we will meet other urgent needs as they arise. Donate Now
