Gwen Stefani for Vogue 2013

Before the world welcomed social media, the internet and even the first fashion magazine, I really believe that Gwen Stefani was birthed to invent the element of cool. The super swaggy, mom, wife, artist, singer and all-around holla-back girl gets us festive for the holiday season by gracing the cover of Vogue’s January 2013 issue.

Ellie Krupnick of the Huffington Post writes: “Landing the first Vogue cover of the new year confirms that Gwen is, indeed, everywhere these days: she appeared on the September 2012 cover of Harper’s Bazaar and the January 2013 issue of Elle UK. It’s all on the heels of No Doubt’s news album, “Push and Shove,” the band’s first in 11 years.”

Rocking Yves Saint Laurent, photographed by Annie Leibovitz and lots of natural face, it’s hard for our hearts not to flutter with the aspect of the icon’s imminent return to the lime light. Rock on Gwen. Rock on.
