J.Crew Debuts their Fall 2011 Collection
J.Crew has always been a staple in men’s design. Their sophisticated prep style and amazingly styled mannequins always pulls me in the store and inspires the way I style my outfits. Their choices of color and fabrics is spot on every time! This week J.Crew and its head of men’s design, Frank Muytjens, extended their authority as one of the best storied brands of American style with the debut of their fall collection. Muytjens combined the functional elements and fabrics of the era with a more severe and cleaner silhouette. The look is modern yet rustic, using Harris Tweed and slim-cut denim and pops of flannel and navy. Check out the way they style their clothes below by rolling up the jeans and tucking in the button ups. I love being able to pull off a more updated and modern version of a 1920′s look. Who doesn’t want to look like a Newsie occasionally?!
