MOST COMFORTABLE HEEL EVER?
French footwear designer Raphael Young has created a little something he likes to call “the most comfortable high heel ever” – and while that’s certainly an awfully big promise. He however, has the hutzpah and the patent to prove it.
Constructed from flexible rubber with leather soles and latex gel injections under the balls of the feet, the “R-Flex” shoe is designed to avoid ankle-twisting with steel insert lining.
Editor of Grazia magazine Kay Barron is one of many fashion insiders who are raving, saying the “R-Flexes” “are supremely flexible and comfy — surprisingly, considering how high they are. I wore them for a whole day during London Fashion Week and there was no burning pain, or numb toes.”
Paired with Tyra’s recent tips on How-To: Wear Stiletto’s at Type F – the shoe industry might be onto something. Are you tired of barking dogs? Would you pay $600+ for heels that don’t hurt? Let us know what you think?
