Nordstrom Presents Their 100% Philanthropic Treasure and Bond
It seems Anna Wintour isn’t merely the mistress of fashion. She’s also the mistress of philanthropy! After an idea and a phone call to Pete Nordstrom, a store was born!
Nordstrom’s new philanthropic concept store, Treasure & Bond is the superstores latest effort at giving back. Opening Friday in NYC, the store will donate 100% of it’s profits to New York-based charities, choosing two new charitable organizations each quarter, starting with New York Public Library’s Programs for Children and Young Adults and NYC Young Men’s Initiative.
Think two-stories stocked full of clothing, jewelry, accessories, home goods, fragrances, gifts and books. Nearly 150 brands will be represented in this 11,137-square-foot space, including apparel by Rogan, Vince, James Perse, and Nicholas K; Biules, Giles & Brother, and Melissa Joy Manning jewelry; and dishes, linens and other homegoods by Kikkerland, Thomas Paul, and Molla Space. Sure, the goods are full-price… but it’s for a good cause. So all’s well that ends well. Here’s a peek:
