Uh-oh.  Looks like somebody needs a sammich.

Allie Crandell

In a nearly unprecedented move (at least in the modeling world), model Allie Crandell has been removed from her duties as Revolve Clothing’s catalog model over shopper’s concerns about her super-super-skinny size.

Crandell, who is best known for her stint on MTV’s “The City” appears on Revolve’s website wearing numerous Max Azria BCBG dresses – but shopper’s attention and comments are all geared towards Crandell’s startling thin build instead of the clothing.

Revolve responded to it’s viewer’s concerns with the following statement:

We are absolutely aware of the feedback and responses to our model’s weight and it has concerned us as well. We are working closely with both the model and her agent to get her to a healthier size. She won’t be appearing in any of our new product batches or in any of our fashion editorial photos moving forward until the issue is adequately addressed.
