Proenza Schouler Takes On Swimwear
You’ve likely been out scouring the racks for this summer’s BFB (Best Fitting Bikini), so consider today’s news bite something to mark your calenders for. Proenza Schouler has announced that they will be adding a swimwear line to their Cruise 2015 collection.
The label only released a single photo, but from the looks of things, the designs will emulate the sophistication of the haute brands other goods. Taking inspiration from variations on two different themes — the first is inspired by surf and skate culture featuring archival prints in bright colors, and the second, inspired by past runway collections, in a palette of black, white and pastels — the collection will include 20 different styles, including bikinis, one-pieces, and pareos.. This all is likely to add up to plenty of options from fun to functional, from classic to chic.
The collection will be priced from $245 to $475 and is set to land in October, just in time to stock up for your winter vacay or anticipate summer 2015′s best beachside look.
