Rag & Bone Hits D.C.
One of my favorite destinations to shop for a nice pair of jeans and the perfect pair of boots, Rag & Bone, is opening their first store outside of New York City in the United States. The shop has numerous stores throughout The Big Apple and one in Tokyo that are all currently doing really well, or at least enough to keep expanding. The D.C. shop will be located in the beautiful shopping area of Georgetown where it will fit perfectly into the culture of little shops and boutiques tucked away in one of the many rowhouses that gives the area its intimate charm.
What Washingtonians can expect from Rag & Bone, or anyone that isn’t acquainted with the brand for that matter is finely crafted clothes with a dark industrial feel. The men’s clothes are pretty basic and would be similar to G-Star or Diesel, while the womens clothes have a dark whimsy about them. Their price points are similar to All Saints, offering jeans for around $200. This should prove as a good move for the company as D.C. has a very thriving knack for fashion, and Georgetown will definitely serve the appeal of the brand well.
