Australian-based Zimmerman brought the pretty with the unveiling of its latest Resort collection, leaving onlookers (and this particular writer) awestruck.
Designer Nicky Zimmerman told Style.com claims that the collection was “loosely based on the classic tale of a good girl falling for a bad boy,” a much less controversial take on the age-old conundrum than Robyn Thicke’s, eh? The collection is full of ethereal ivory and gold dresses, bodysuits, croptops, and edgier black fringed gowns and, of course, swimwear (which the brand is known for.) The silhouettes are daring and elegant, and while the elements of detailing (aka. paisley print, laser-cutting, ruffes, fringe) might threaten to overpower another collection, it all seems to perfectly compliment and goods.
