Thanksgiving Fashion Faux-Pas

Post-Thanksgiving we’re all about hitting the gym, re-figuring our budget after Black Friday, and sharing the most insane holiday stories with each other. That’s where we come in–the “insane holiday stories” part. While some celebrities were seen jet-setting around the continental United States for maple lattes, others were getting into a bit more trouble.

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana

Dolce & Gabbana v The Tax Man: Did Willie Nelson and Wesley Snipes teach us nothing? Just days ago, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were indicted for tax evasion in Milan. And we’re not talking chump change; the pair are being accused of hoarding $569 million each. Fashion’s iconic dream team could face up to five years in prison. The Italians don’t mess around, do they? That’s ten whole collections not counting couture or resort. We’ve officially started to perspire.

Isaac Mizrahi

Isaac Mizrahi v The Neighbors: Over holiday break, Mr. Mizrahi bought his fourth apartment…in the same building. (Looks like The Fashion Show is doing better than we thought!) His Greenwich Village space, which has been home to the designer since 1991, now takes up multiple floors and totals 2,912 square feet with 1,000 square feet on the terrace. Word is out that the neighbors don’t mind one tiny bit. Uh huh.
